With the first two events of the 2013 F1 already over, we have already seen enough to know that this years competition is likely to be a thrilling event. Last year, not only was I lucky enough to see to two Formula One races live at Silverstone and Barcelona, but I also has a pass to the exclusive F1 Paddock Club in Spain. The F1 Paddock is an area generally reserved for VIPs, or those who can afford to purchase a pass, but my partner’s brother works for Williams F1, and we were lucky that he was able to get us passes. With the pass you can enter the pits and actually mingle with the teams, drivers and any stars that happen to be at the event. I do not know exactly how much you will pay for a paddock pass if you book online, but the pass is often part of F1 packages you can purchase. Needless to say, it is best to book well in advance.
While the price of these packages may initially seem high, if you break down everything you get and add it up individually, such as flight, airport transfer, hotels, entry to the event, some refreshments, plus the coveted pass, you will realise you are actually getting a really good deal.
An actual Formula One race lasts for a couple of hours, but if you combine the event with a holiday, it is safe to say you will not be disappointed. The events are held in exciting locations, all be it that generally the tracks are located outside the large cities, and you will find there is plenty to do apart from watching the event.
